SAO PAULO (AP) — Local officials say presidential candidate Eduardo Campos has died in an air crash in the city of Santos.

He was aboard a small private jet that crashed Wednesday into a residential area in the southeastern port city, according to city hall officials in Santos. The plane went down in bad weather.
