(AP Photo/Anees Mahyoub) A ceasefire agreement this weekend wasn’t enough to prevent the latest clash between protesters and pro-government forces in Yemen. Snipers killed a 20-year-old woman after soldiers stopped a protest march in the city of Taiz this morning, demonstrators said; at least seven more were injured in the showdown. The shooting follows 18 killings in three days last week in the city. Protesters fear the ceasefire, which removed their armed guards, may have prompted the attack. “Ceasefire? What ceasefire?” asked a protester in a hospital. The violence has also prompted questions among protesters over President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s agreement to cede power.
