"A higher probability of a more centrist Democrat candidate has provided some comfort” for investors, a strategist with JP Morgan Asset Management tells the Wall Street Journal. The Dow opened up more than 600 points and quickly rose another 100 points before sinking slightly. As of 9:35am, it was trading up 540 points, a gain of about 2%.
