Maryland investigators didn't have to squint at grainy footage to ID this bank robbery suspect—he apparently stared right into the camera, then later walked into a police station. Authorities in Prince George's County say 52-year-old Kevin Hitch of Upper Marlboro entered a Truist Bank in Forestville on May 18, passed a note to a teller demanding money, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, per FOX 5. There were no reported injuries.
Surveillance video released by police showed a man making no effort to cover his face and even at one point looking straight into a security camera. Hours after the images were made public, Hitch turned himself in, officials say. He's now in corrections custody, charged with armed robbery, second-degree assault, and other offenses. Police are asking anyone with additional information to call 301-516-2830 or Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477), per Patch.
