So you come home from a night of drinking with the boys, and the missus says she wants a divorce. What's a guy to do but grab an excavator and start tearing down the house? So goes the story of Erik Pierwsza of Buffalo Township, Pa., where police say they were called Monday after a woman reported that her husband was using heavy equipment to damage their home, per WESH. She told police she had just informed Pierwsza she wanted to end the marriage, to which he replied, "If it's over, I'll tear the house down," and allegedly began tearing into the structure with a red Kubota excavator, reports CBS News.

The wife and their two daughters were still inside, according to authorities, and 911 dispatchers could hear the excavator going at it and yelling in the background. Pierwsza now faces charges including reckless endangerment, causing a catastrophe, and disorderly conduct. In addition to a divorce, Pierwsza's wife also seeking an order of protection. A neighbor seems amused, telling CBS, "I'd like to know what she said to him because I'll make sure I don't say it. Forty-two years I've been married, but I've never threatened to tear the house down."
