Cops Catch a Falling Bear

Arizona officers turned a tarp into an improvised safety net for a tranquilized bear. The Sahuarita Police Department released video showing officers and Arizona Game and Fish staff stretching a tarp beneath a tree in Rancho Sahuarita after a wandering bear scrambled up the branches, reports UPI. Wildlife officials sedated the animal, which eventually tumbled from the tree and landed in the tarp below. Police said the bear was later relocated, and no injuries were reported, per AZ Family.
