Lego is betting you still have a soft spot for a certain stranded, bicycle-riding alien. The company has unveiled a 1,226-piece ET set that lets fans build the character from head to toe, complete with a movable neck and that familiar raised finger, reports Gizmodo. A switch activates a glowing "heart," and the model can clutch a small buildable pot of sunflowers.

Arriving Aug. 1 for $140, the set is pitched as a nostalgia hit for ET devotees as the 1982 film nears its 45th anniversary. Lego is positioning it as a display piece rather than a play set, aimed at adults who grew up with Steven Spielberg's classic—and who might now be ready to give the alien a permanent spot on a bookshelf. It's not Lego's only recent collaboration: Mashable notes that F1 is getting the big-time Lego treatment, in the form of 22 fully drivable racecars made of 28,000 bricks each that will circle the track at the British Grand Prix.
