Hot dogs are getting a Pringles-style twist. As People reports, the chip brand is debuting "Pop Dog Buns," a limited-run line of 7.5-inch, potato-based hot dog buns that come in three of its snack flavors: Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, and Honey Mustard. Packaged in Pringles cans, the buns are being billed as a way to turn the usually ignored bun into what the company calls in a release "the star of the show," timed to land around National Hot Dog Day.

Fans won't find them in regular grocery aisles. The buns are free with the purchase of a $6.97 three-pack of Pringles via OnceYouPopMarket.com and the brand's Instagram and Facebook Shops, with drops set for Wednesday and July 15 at noon ET while supplies last. But beware: It's one bun per can, notes BleedingCool, which makes for a hefty number of cans per barbecue, The launch follows Pringles' recent collaboration with Miller Lite on two beer-inspired chip flavors: Beer Cheese Burger and Beer-Braised Steak, the latter returning after a strong response to an earlier limited run.
