New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo likely gave the team's fans and coaches a what-were-you-thinking moment over the weekend. The 24-year-old insists he's "perfectly fine" after a viral clip (see it here) showed him botching a backflip on stage at Fanatics Fest in New York City and crashing down on the same right leg that ended his rookie season with a fractured fibula, ruptured ligament, and dislocated ankle, reports ESPN.

"I'm gonna address the elephant," Skattebo said on Sunday, the day after the backflip, at another event. "I will not hurt myself before the season." Skattebo rushed for 410 yards and scored seven total touchdowns in eight games last year before the injury cut his season short, per the Athletic. He's known for his celebratory backflips and apparently has no interest in stopping, recuperation or no. "I'm just gonna keep being me," he said. "If they wanna say I'm braindead and I don't have no brain, then who cares?"
