Nathan Fielder's latest project doesn't just follow Elizabeth Holmes—it moves in with her. A24 dropped the first full trailer for You Can See Everything, a 174-minute documentary from Fielder and director Lance Oppenheim that tracks the Theranos founder in the weeks before she reports to prison and the early stretch of her sentence, per Variety. Billed as a "mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss," the process begins when Holmes invites a skeptical crew to film her "every move," as the trailer shows Fielder embedded in her home, questioning her, making her cry, and even grilling her husband.
"I don't have anything to deceive you on," Holmes tells Fielder, insisting she's engaging "as a human being." The film, which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and arrives in theaters Oct. 16, has already sparked strong reactions. Variety's Owen Gleiberman called it "a one-of-a-kind" psychodrama driven by Fielder's deadpan interrogation style, while awards editor Clayton Davis said its escalating oddity left veteran festivalgoers "shell-shocked."
