Sports | Tim Tebow Tim Tebow Halts Work With Christian Firm After Probe Ex-QB is 'pausing' his ties to Life Surge after predatory sales claims By Jenn Gidman withNewser.AI Posted Sep 26, 2026 10:10 AM CDT Copied In this Aug. 6, 2014, file photo, Tim Tebow is seen in Charlotte, North Carolina. (AP photo/Chuck Burton, file) Tim Tebow's latest audible isn't on a football field but in the booming world of Christian moneymaking seminars. After Mother Jones, working with the podcast Pablo Torre Finds Out, reported on complaints about Life Surge—a Christian financial seminar company that Tebow, 39, frequently headlined as a speaker—the former NFL quarterback says he's temporarily stepping away from the group. Attendees told the outlet that they felt their faith was leveraged to sell them high-priced programs that left them tens of thousands of dollars in the hole—allegations that Life Surge flatly rejects. Tebow, who'd been scheduled to appear at 10 Life Surge events in 2026, told ESPN affiliate WRUF in Gainesville that his team is conducting its own review and that he's "pausing" the relationship "till we can learn more about the facts." He added that the allegations are "extremely, extremely serious," per the AP. In an emailed statement to Mother Jones after Tebow's comments, Life Surge CEO Jeremy Nosek said the company "strongly disagrees" with the recent reporting and "will not apologize" for its mission. He adds that "our respect for Tim has not changed." For the full investigation into the complaints and Tebow's role, more here. Read These Next Netherlands confirms a 1-year-old was euthanized.
