Britney Spears Cancels Shows After Onstage Fall

The latest star to take a nasty fall onstage: Britney Spears on Wednesday night in Vegas. The resulting ankle injury has forced the pop star to reschedule her performances in Sin City tonight and tomorrow night. A statement from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino where Spears performs her "Britney: Piece of Me" show said yesterday the star's doctor recommended she take the two days to heal.

Video footage of the performer shot by an audience member shows Spears kicking and high-stepping on high-heels during her single "(You Drive Me) Crazy" before her left ankle gives way. Spears followed up a #Heartbroken tweet with one saying "Your kind words mean everything to me! I'm rescheduling this weekend’s shows and will let ya'll know when we have the new dates. xoxo." It's not her first Vegas mishap.
