Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank will be adding a third child to their family this summer, Buckingham Palace said Monday. The couple, who married in 2018, already share sons August, 5, and Ernest, 2, who are "very excited" about the new arrival, according to the palace. Eugenie marked the news on Instagram with a photo of her boys studying an ultrasound image, captioned: "Baby Brooksbank due 2026!" The palace said that King Charles III, Eugenie's uncle, is "delighted with the news," reports ABC News.

The due date is this summer, notes the BBC. The baby will be 15th in line to the British throne, skipping ahead of Charles' youngest brother, Price Edward. Eugenie has remained in the line of succession despite her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor—stripped of royal roles and honors last year—having stepped away from public duties. Eugenie and sister Princess Beatrice recently skipped the family's Easter service in the wake of Andrew's arrest, though a royal source says that was their choice and not Charles' request.
