Lounging in the backyard just got a new warning label. Giantex is recalling about 1,155 outdoor lounge chairs after federal regulators said the adjustable mechanism can trap fingers, with one reported finger amputation tied to the product, reports Quartz. The recall covers blue chairs with the model number NP10025NY, sold for $75 to $90 on Amazon and Giantex.com between August 2023 and October 2025.

The chairs, made in China and distributed in California, feature a five-position locking system that the Consumer Product Safety Commission says creates a hazardous "pinch point." Owners are urged to stop using the chairs and reach out to Giantex for a full refund, either by returning them or disabling them per company instructions. Giantex can be contacted by calling at 844-242-1885, emailing the company at support@giantex.com, or via its online recall page.
