His $158 billion from Tesla dwarfs everyone else: Consider that No. 2 Shankh Mitra of Welltower makes a not-too-shabby $821 million. The list is for companies in the S&P 500, and the top 10 follow: Elon Musk, Tesla, $158 billion Shankh Mitra, Welltower, $821 million George Kurtz, Crowdstrike Holdings, $248 million Hock Tan, Broadcom, $205 million David Zaslav, Warner Bros. Discovery, $165 million Stephen Schwarzman, Blackstone, $126 million David Solomon, Goldman Sachs, $119 million Nikesh Arora, Palo Alto Networks, $100 million Jane Fraser, Citigroup, $96 million Charles Scharf, Wells Fargo, $96 million Others: The Journal notes that other CEOs not in the S&P 500 would otherwise have easily cracked the top 10, including Dylan Field of Figma ($864 million) and Kaz Nejatian of Opendoor Technologies ($741 million).
