Belgium didn't just knock the US out of the World Cup—it went for the punch line, too. Yahoo Sports reports that, after its 4-1 win over the Americans on Monday night, the Belgian team's official X account posted a photo of its players celebrating with a pointed two-word caption: "Overturn this." The jab referenced FIFA's surprise decision to rescind a red card given to US striker Folarin Balogun, a reversal made after a call from President Trump, according to both Trump and FIFA chief Gianni Infantino, though Infantino says the decision wasn't impacted by the US president's correspondence.

Belgium had appealed the move and lost. The trolling didn't stop online: After Romelu Lukaku scored Belgium's fourth goal, several players broke into a dance widely compared to Trump's dance moves at his rallies, reports the New York Post. "This one will be hard for USA to recover—both the devastating loss and the Donald Trump dance by Belgium," the outlet notes. "There was a sense of injustice within the squad, and we were determined to respond on the field" over the Balogun decision, Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin said after the match, per the BBC. Next up for Belgium: a quarterfinals date with Spain on Friday.
