Joe Rogan on Iran: Trump 'Might've F---ed It Up'

Joe Rogan thinks President Trump "might've f---ed it up" by deciding to attack Iran in February. "I mean, this war is not something anybody that's conservative wanted," Rogan said on Wednesday's episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," just hours after the US resumed its strikes on Iran after a nearly three-week ceasefire, reports USA Today. He continued:

  • "Most people don't want it, except supporters of Israel. They're the only people that seem to be thinking it's a good idea in this country. Most people are horrified by the idea because Trump was elected. One of the pillars that he stood for apparently was that he doesn't want any more wars."

The Hill reports Rogan's comments track with a wider conservative backlash from figures like Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Matt Walsh, who accuse Trump of prioritizing Israeli interests over US ones. Rogan's guest, British politician Rupert Lowe, spoke to that, saying, "There's only a reason to go to war if it's going to benefit you. And it was difficult to see what the benefit was. Although I think Iran is a sort of malevolent state, and it is spreading very bad philosophy."
