Julia Garner's marriage to musician Mark Foster has quietly ended after more than six years, a source tells People. Representatives for the Ozark star, 32, and the Foster the People frontman, 42, haven't commented. The two met at Sundance years before they began dating, later reconnecting on Instagram, Garner has said. They got engaged during a 2019 trip to Montana, where Foster proposed with a poem, and wed that December in a small New York City courthouse ceremony inspired by Garner's parents.
Foster wrote an original song, "Lovers in a Stream," for their first dance. "It was very surreal, and the most beautiful present I've ever received," Garner told Vogue in early 2020, calling it "the most magical moment I've ever had." The pair often marked anniversaries on Instagram and appeared together at major events, with Garner thanking Foster in her 2019 Emmy and 2023 Golden Globe acceptance speeches, per People. Page Six notes that the couple was last seen publicly together in October, at an event at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
