Jon Bon Jovi cut short what was supposed to be night eight of his nine-show run at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, telling fans mid-concert that he couldn't keep going. After getting through "Livin' on a Prayer," the 64-year-old said, "I'm sorry, I'm hurt and you're not getting the best of me," according to an attendee, and urged the crowd to keep their ticket stubs while he figures out how to make it right. "Just hold onto it, we'll figure out how to reschedule," he said, per Page Six.
A statement from his team said the show wrapped after about 90 minutes due to a sinus infection, reports USA Today. The MSG residency is part of Bon Jovi's Forever Tour, the band's first since the frontman's 2022 vocal cord surgery—a procedure that had led him to question whether he'd ever tour again. His rep said updated details on the curtailed show will be released soon.
