Greenland is telling an oil startup linked to President Trump to slow down. Greenland Energy, a Texas firm claiming there could be $1 trillion in oil under the Jameson Land region, moved drilling gear onto the island's remote east coast without formal sign-off, prompting what the government called a "strong warning" that no approval had been granted. Officials stressed that all future logistics must be cleared with the mineral resources authority first, the Guardian reports.
