A Maine meteorologist's effort to prank a colleague ended with him barely able to read the weather. Patrick Osborn of WABI TV5 explained on Monday that he'd queued up what he thought was a five-second "wah-wah" clip—like the voice of adults in Peanuts—to tease anchor Josh Gabbard during a break. It was actually an hour-long compilation that chimed in every few minutes, notes the Daily Beast. About 20 seconds into Osborn's live Sunday forecast, the "wah-wah" sound kicked in. He tried to push through but broke into squeals and snorts, then lost it again, saying, "OK, let me get it together real quick." That failed, and Osborn ultimately handed off the segment as Gabbard dryly asked, "Whatever happened to professionalism, Patrick?"

Predictably, the clip went viral to the delight of many, notes Q1056 FM, including viewer Jerry Cox, who reposted it on social media with the comment, "The world needs more of this right now, more laughter. We're all human, and it's ok to make mistakes!"
