President Trump got into a testy exchange with an ABC News reporter Thursday night when she questioned his plan to give Americans $5,000 each if the GOP keeps control of the House and Senate, reports Business Insider.

  • Rachel Scott: "If your economic policies are working, why do you need an incentive for people to turn out and vote?" asked the journalist on the airport tarmac in Dallas, per Newsweek.
  • Trump: "I didn't do it for turning out the vote," Trump responded. "I'm doing it as a reward for people having to put up with five years, and four years, of a horrible, horrible situation caused by Biden."

  • 'The worst:' When Scott continued to press Trump on the issue, noting that his promise of tariff-rebate checks failed to materialize, Trump cut her off with, "Not you" three times, at one point leaning in toward her. "Your network and you, you're the worst," he said. See the moment here.
  • Familiar ground: Trump's clashes with female journalists in particular have gained attention, and Newsweek rounds up 10 of them. The latest one even caught the attention of TMZ.
