Michele Bachmann, passed over by the GOP for both House leadership roles and its response to President Obama's State of the Union address, is, well, going to go ahead and give her own response to the SOTU anyway, reports Ben Smith on Politico. The move, announced by the Tea Party Express in an email to supporters, comes as Bachmann flirts with Iowa and a presidential run. The announcement:

"Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has confirmed with us that she will broadcast her response to Barack Obama's State Of The Union address this Tuesday. You'll be able to watch her rebut Obama via her address which will be broadcast on our website: www.TeaPartyExpress.org"
