Michelle Obama says there's one group she's never heard confess to feeling like a fraud at the top: white men. Speaking at SXSW London on Tuesday during a live taping of her IMO podcast with brother Craig Robinson, the former first lady said that in all the high-level meetings she's attended, she has yet to encounter a white man who admits to impostor syndrome, per the Guardian. Yet, "there's so many people like me, like you: women, minorities, folks who aren't supposed to be at these tables ... they are sitting around thinking that they're impostors," she noted.

Obama also dove into "helicopter parenting," arguing that overmanaging kids signals a lack of faith in their abilities. She recalled her own parents making her and Robinson get themselves up for school from age 5, serving as "counsel but not intervention." Making a particular impact on Obama, 62, is how fast life seems to be zipping by. "We've been out of the White House for 10 years, and I swear it went like that," she said, per The Hollywood Reporter. "So this next chapter I want to be mindful about it, so that it doesn't just slip away. ... The choices that I make now are going to be for me, not for my husband, not for my kids, not for the country, not for the world, because this is it."

Obama additionally shared that Elton John recorded a special version of "Candle in the Wind" for the funeral of her mother, Marian Robinson, whom she called her "rock," per the Guardian. As for her favorite podcast guest so far? Obama admits it's comedian Dave Chappelle, per USA Today. Chappelle "is one of the smartest people on the planet, the funniest," Obama gushed. Since leaving the White House, Obama has built a global speaking career and co-founded production company Higher Ground, which recently ended its deal with Netflix after producing films including Rustin and Crip Camp, per the Guardian.
