Jack White's Wife No. 3 Files for Divorce

Jack White's third marriage is ending much less theatrically than it began. Musician Olivia Jean filed for divorce in Nashville on June 3, after more than four years of marriage to the former White Stripes frontman, reports TMZ. In her petition, Jean accuses White of "inappropriate marital conduct" that makes living together "unsafe and improper." In Tennessee, that phrase is a broad, fault-based ground for divorce that covers various forms of alleged mistreatment.

The pair famously wed mid-concert on a Detroit stage in 2022, with White proposing and then having a co-founder of his Third Man Records officiate on the spot. At the time, Jean called it the best experience of her life, per the Los Angeles Times. Her divorce filing includes a request for alimony and coverage of legal expenses, noting she is financially dependent on White, per USA Today.
