Noah Wyle just added a new title to his long résumé: People's 2026 Sexiest Man Alive. The 55-year-old graying star of HBO's medical drama The Pitt told the magazine he initially thought the honor was a "prank," saying it was something he never imagined "in a million years." He says he can be "self-conscious," not entirely comfortable in his own skin. "I like being in other people's skin," says the actor, now bracing for relentless teasing from friends and family.

Wyle first broke out as Dr. John Carter on ER, racking up multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations before returning to TV medicine as Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch on The Pitt. That role has netted him a Golden Globe and back-to-back best actor Emmys, with Season 3 due out in January, per Variety. When he gets a rare day off, he tells People he cooks, journals, and exercises. He's also big on household chores, recommending that other men "get into the dishwashing, because it's very therapeutic." He follows People's 2025 pick Jonathan Bailey and joins a roster that includes Michael B. Jordan and Idris Elba.
