Podcaster Ethan Klein is speaking up, though not at great length, after his wife, Hila Klein, publicly accused him of a monthslong affair. In an Instagram story posted hours after his spouse's claims on Friday, the 41-year-old H3 Podcast co-creator asked people not to contact his family, saying they "have nothing to do with this and share in your outrage and disappointment," and requested privacy, per USA Today. In a follow-up post, Ethan Klein also noted that he was "working with Hila" to try to cut all of his financial ties and ownership rights to the podcast and their related businesses, per The Hollywood Reporter. "I do this in the hope that people can still support Hila and the Crew without the concern of enriching me," he wrote. H3 Podcast staffers have issued their own statement saying they "stand with Hila." The future of the show hasn't been detailed.

A long-running podcast is on hiatus over an unusual personal issue: One of the co-hosts accused the other of cheating on her. Hila Klein announced on Friday that the H3 Podcast is on indefinite pause after her husband and fellow host Ethan Klein admitted to a monthslong affair with another woman, reports USA Today. "I am living in a nightmare," she wrote on Instagram, saying the pair will separate after nearly 15 years of marriage and co-parent their three young sons. A representative for Ethan Klein hasn't publicly responded.
Most of the production team for their H3H3 YouTube channel quickly lined up behind her. In a joint statement of their own, staffers said they were "shocked, angry, and heartbroken" and wouldn't continue working on any show that involves or benefits Ethan, per People. The couple's popular show began in 2016. It's not clear who will retain the rights to the podcast, notes Complex, which adds that a "two-podcast solution" is a possibility.
