Bill Maher had dinner with President Trump again, and the result is the president's longest-ever Truth Social post—a scathing takedown of the man Trump calls a two-faced "complete and total loser." CNN counts 1,323 words, including, "Bill: Don't call anymore." Maher went to a White House dinner on Oct. 15 with Kid Rock and former ESPN host Stephen A. Smith, and Trump initially had nice things to say: "He likes me a lot more than people understand, and I actually like him," Trump told reporters of Maher afterward, per Deadline. "It was a good dinner." What set Trump off was Maher's subsequent Real Time show on HBO, which aired Friday.

Maher talked about Trump's low approval ratings, called him only "half sane," and mocked the president's support of Vivek Ramaswamy's controversial ad in Ohio. Maher is "not a nice guy, and what he spouts isn't what he believes," wrote Trump. "He has to cater to his base, which is mostly composed of Losers, and people who don't like working." Deadline notes that a similar dynamic played out after the two had dinner last year: Trump later called that dinner a "total waste of time" and labeled Maher a "jerk." Larry David famously lampooned the complimentary things that Maher said about Trump at the time.
