CNBC to Trump: OK, You Win

It's safe to say CNBC isn't willing to lose Donald Trump or his power to pull in record ratings at the next GOP debate. CNN reports the network has caved to his demands that the Oct. 28 debate in Boulder, Colo., run no more than two hours including commercials—a call that was echoed by Ben Carson. The two GOP front-runners and other candidates had also requested that opening and closing statements be allowed—CNBC has dropped them in the past—but it isn't clear if the network will agree on the point, per the Hill. CNN notes that if the network does acquiesce, total debate time will be under the 90-minute mark. "Fantastic news for all, especially the millions of people who will be watching!" Trump tweeted on Friday.
