The World's 50 Best Beaches team has just done what they do best: ranked the world's best beaches, with 2026's contenders stretching from Asia and Australia to the Caribbean. More than 1,000 travel experts threw their nominations into the ring, which were then pored over by the World's 50 Best Beaches team based on eight criteria, including crowds, wildlife, and how much untouched nature is present. Entalula Beach in the Philippines took the top spot this year. USA Today notes that after each annual ranking, the No. 1 pick gets archived into an even more elite list, the "best of the best," so that new beaches can then have the chance to be in the spotlight. Here, this year's top 10 globally:
- Entalula Beach, Philippines
- Fteri Beach, Greece
- Wharton Beach, Australia
- Nosy Iranja, Madagascar
- East Beach, Fiji
- Shoal Bay East, Anguilla
- Dhigurah, Maldives
- Playa Balandra, Mexico
- Koh Rong, Cambodia
- Donald Duck Bay, Thailand
