Three people were shot in Los Angeles' Skid Row Thursday evening, and police say the still-at-large gunman delivered a message before shooting. The LAPD says the assailant approached the victims on a street corner around 7pm and shouted, "This is where I do business" before opening fire, reports City News Service.
Police say the victims were a 21-year-old man, a 62-year-old woman, and a woman in her 30s. All were hospitalized in stable condition, and none had life-threatening injuries, per KTLA. At least two of the victims were believed to be homeless, reports the New York Post, which notes that the city's Skid Row near downtown has one of the highest concentrations of homelessness in the nation. The shooter fled on foot, and police have no suspects.
