Authorities in Kentucky are searching for two inmates who slipped away from a county jail on Friday evening and are being described by police as "dangerous." The Morehead Police Department said the men simply "walked away" from the Rowan County Detention Center, triggering a search involving multiple agencies, with Kentucky State Police coordinating the manhunt, reports Fox News. Residents in and around Morehead have been urged not to approach anyone who seems suspicious and instead call 911.

The escapees have been identified as 29-year-old Michael Fogleman and 52-year-old James Smallwood. Fogleman is about 6 feet tall and close to 190 pounds, with short or closely shaved hair and a short beard along his jaw and chin. Smallwood is listed at 6-foot-1 and roughly 215 pounds, with a medium to stocky build and gray facial hair around his mouth and chin. Police said Smallwood was last seen in a white shirt, blue jeans, and possibly a hat. Investigators said they'll release additional details as they become available.
