Dolly Parton left fans one last song—but it'll be another 20 years before they hear it. Her final track, "My Place in History," is sealed inside a chestnut box at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., with instructions that it not be opened until Jan. 19, 2046, the day she would have turned 100. The box reportedly holds a CD of the song, which ABC News reports she recorded in 2015, and a player. "You have no idea how that has bothered me. I wanna go dig that up so bad," the Telegraph recalls Parton telling Kelly Clarkson in 2022. "It's a really good song," Parton added.
