The top teams in college football made sports history on Saturday, and not in a good way. For the first time in the 90-year history of the AP poll, five of the top seven teams lost on the same day, the Athletic reports. And when No. 1 Georgia and No. 2 Notre Dame fell, it was the first time since 2012 that the top two teams had lost on the same chaotic day. The SEC in particular took it on the chin, with Georgia, No. 6 Alabama, and No. 7 Texas losing. No. 4 Ohio State topped No. 5 Indiana in a game that went down to the wire, per ESPN. The big upset was unranked Auburn's 27-24 win over Georgia; Texas and Georgia lost on walk-off field goals. The AP points out that this week's poll will look different.
