Cindy Crawford is publicly mourning son Presley Gerber nearly a month after his death at 27, People reports. In a black-and-white photo tribute posted to Instagram on Sunday and signed by Crawford, husband Rande Gerber, and daughter Kaia, the family write that they are "beyond heartbroken" and described Presley as a "sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever." They thanked friends, fans, and even strangers for their support and closed with, "'Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever." Rande Gerber shared the same post.
Kaia Gerber, 25, also honored her brother Sunday, People reports. "I am, quite literally, down on my f---ing knees," she wrote in a lengthy, raw post that also included video of the siblings as children. "You know how much I loved being your sister. It has always been, and will forever be, my favorite thing about myself. I came into this world with a white-knuckle grip around you. I had more love for you than I knew what to do with. [A]nd now that it has nowhere obvious to go, I'm certain it's going to swallow me whole." Presley died Sept. 20 at a Santa Monica rehab facility. Police said they found him dead after a call for cardiac arrest and are treating the case as a suspected overdose with no signs of foul play. He had previously spoken openly about mental health and substance use struggles, with sources saying his family spent years helping him to seek treatment.
