Kristi Noem may be out as Homeland Security chief, but she's apparently still in at a coveted Coast Guard home on the Potomac. The former secretary has continued using a waterfront residence at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling—typically reserved for the Coast Guard commandant—even after former President Trump removed her from the DHS post in early March, reports the Wall Street Journal. Kevin Lunday, has said he's preparing to move into the house soon so the vice commandant can take over the similar home he lives in next-door. The arrangement comes amid broader scrutiny of Noem's use of government resources: she and top aide Corey Lewandowski—who has frequently been seen at the house and has denied rumors of an affair with Noem—oversaw $70 million in jet leases for personal travel and more than $200 million in self-focused ad spending.
