Megan Thee Stallion is dumping her man and her gig, and she's sorry to see one of those things go and very publicly kicking the other to the curb. The star announced Monday that she's ending her Broadway run on Moulin Rouge this Friday, saying, "It's been such an honor to be part of thee Moulin Rouge family and I've met so many amazing people in this theater!" Megan had been scheduled to appear as Harold Zidler from March 24 through May 17, notes the Daily Beast.

Then there's the matter of Klay Thompson, who is the recipient of some decidedly less flowery words. The rapper announced on Instagram that she ended things with the Dallas Mavericks guard, opening with the word "Cheating" and accusing him of getting "cold feet." "Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'????" Megan wrote. "I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall." In a statement to CNN, Megan said she chose to walk away, adding that "trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable" and that she's focusing on "peace and clarity." Thompson has not responded publicly.

Fans, who had embraced the couple when they went public last July, swiftly moved into defense mode online. Social media feeds filled with messages backing Megan and attacking Thompson, including compilations of his worst on-court moments. The breakup hit especially hard for fans who'd seen Thompson as a bright spot after years of hardship for Megan, including family losses, a shooting that led to rapper Tory Lanez's conviction, and a previous relationship in which she also alleged infidelity. At her Moulin Rouge! performance after the split, the crowd's chants of "we love you" brought her to tears.
