A spokesperson for the couple declined comment but did not dispute the report; a royal correspondent told BBC Radio 4 that Meghan is "very excited" about the job.

The BBC separately reports that such a move could prove lucrative for the duchess, who made a cameo in unreleased comedy Close Personal Friends, and also hopes to build her As Ever lifestyle brand. Meanwhile, the family plans an extended stay in Britain, where the children are set to attend school and Harry will continue his charity work, including preparing for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. They'll keep their home and business interests in California while establishing a private, non-royal base in the UK.
