For those following along at homes on either side of the pond, Meghan Markle left her acting life in America to become royalty in Britain, then returned to America as a non-working royal, and now appears to be returning to her former life as an actor—back in Britain. People reports she's been offered what's described as a significant acting project, her biggest since Suits, with the mystery role helping drive the timing of her and Prince Harry's upcoming move back to the UK with Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5. A spokesperson for the couple declined comment but did not dispute the report; a royal correspondent told BBC Radio 4 that Meghan is "very excited" about the job.

The BBC separately reports that such a move could prove lucrative for the duchess, who made a cameo in unreleased comedy Close Personal Friends, and also hopes to build her As Ever lifestyle brand. Meanwhile, the family plans an extended stay in Britain, where the children are set to attend school and Harry will continue his charity work, including preparing for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. They'll keep their home and business interests in California while establishing a private, non-royal base in the UK.
