Police in Wilmington, Ohio say a college janitor secretly climbed into a locker room ceiling to snap photos of women changing below. Authorities say Christopher Barker, 42, was spotted by a member of the Wilmington College women's soccer team at the Scheve Athletic Center and was detained by campus security until police arrived, NBC News reports. He has been charged with 11 counts of voyeurism.
Barker, who worked for a custodial contractor at Wilmington College, was jailed on $22,000 bond and has since been released, authorities said. The college says it has cut ties with the contractor and is offering counseling and other support to affected students, calling their safety its "paramount concern," the Wilmington News Journal reports. The college says it has also changed some locks. Investigators are checking whether Barker has done anything similar in the past and warn more charges could follow. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 5.
