Karoline Leavitt is trading the White House podium for a Fox News studio chair. The 29-year-old, who served as President Trump's press secretary and chief spokeswoman until August, will become an on-air contributor for the network starting Nov. 1, Fox News announced Monday, per the New York Times. Leavitt, once praised by Trump for her rapid-fire defenses and sharp exchanges with reporters, left the administration after maternity leave, saying she wanted more time with her two young children while remaining a strong MAGA voice.
At Fox, she'll appear across both opinion and news shows, joining a roster that includes the president's daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, and other former Trump administration officials—among them Kayleigh McEnany, who served as press secretary during Trump's first term. Leavitt's move underscores the ongoing, if sometimes strained, symbiosis between the Trump White House and the Rupert Murdoch-owned channel. Trump, who recruited several members of his administration from the network, on Sunday blasted leadership for not airing more of his rallies and ousting his ally Maria Bartiromo, per Newsweek.
