Melissa Gilbert let Shakespeare do the talking after a New Mexico judge tossed the child sex-abuse case against her husband, actor-director Timothy Busfield. On Friday, the judge granted Busfield's motion to dismiss a grand jury indictment that had accused the 69-year-old of sexually abusing twin boys while working on Fox's The Cleaning Lady, per USA Today. Gilbert marked the development on Instagram with a quote: "So shines a good deed in a weary world." Page Six reports that the quote was from Willy Shakes' The Merchant of Venice, and was also uttered by Gene Wilder in 1971's Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Judge Joseph Montano ruled that prosecutors didn't act "in a fair and impartial manner," finding the grand jury was improperly instructed and effectively blocked from hearing additional witnesses it requested. Busfield has denied the allegations throughout. Gilbert has publicly backed him for months, insisting she never doubted his innocence and that she was "100% confident he will be exonerated."
