Federal agents say they watched a dark triangle rise soundlessly over a mountain, hang in the air, then streak away at fighter-jet speed—and they still don't know what it was. Their account of a 15-foot "matte black" craft, unable to be picked up on thermal imaging and labeled an "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena," appears in one of 10 documents declassified Friday under President Trump's directive to accelerate UAP disclosures, Axios reports.

Some of the files date to the 1940s, but the triangle sighting is from this year, with the exact date blacked out. Also in the batch: a 2010 report on Utah's Skinwalker Ranch describing supposed strange creatures and lights (but no hard proof), reports from mid-20th century by airline and military pilots, and 1960s memos on recovering suspected space-vehicle debris. The records offer no conclusions on aliens or national security risks. No videos or images were included in the release. The Pentagon has made fewer such documents public as Trump's second term progresses, per the Guardian.
