Faced with a quickly shrinking lineup of performers for "The Great American State Fair" and the possibility of Vanilla Ice having to bear the brunt solo, President Trump has announced a new headliner for the event. The president said in a social media post on Saturday, and his Freedom 250 organization confirmed, that he'll take the stage on June 24 to kick off the party on the National Mall, the Washington Post reports. That's actually a day before it was scheduled to begin. Still, aides said they're hurrying to carry out the new plan. Although some of the artists said they were canceling because the event is turning out to be political, Trump posted earlier Saturday that he's also "ordering my Representatives to look at the feasibility of doing an AMERICA IS BACK Rally."
Before the confirmation, in what could double as his introduction that day, Trump posted that he was "thinking about bringing the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime, and he does so without a guitar, the man who loves our Country more than anyone else, and the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate 'Artists,' and give a major speech, rallying the Country forward like I have done ever since being President!" Vanilla Ice confirmed to ABC News that he's still in.
