Judge Flinches at New Court Videos of Charlie Kirk Shooting

Robinson's defense team spent the first day of the preliminary hearing poking at the state's case rather than offering an alternate narrative. They questioned whether the videos reliably identify the shooter, highlighted security lapses, and pressed a police witness on a pistol holster at the scene that was never accounted for, per the Times. The officer, David Hull, described finding impressions from a "sniper's pad" on a building roof, per Fox News. Watching in the gallery were Donald Trump Jr., Kirk's parents, and his widow, Erika, who was facing Robinson for the first time and stepped out during the most graphic testimony. The hearing resumes Tuesday and is expected to continue through the week.
