The home of the NFL's Saquon Barkley's was broken into while he and his family were inside over the weekend, and police now want to know if the crime is part of something bigger. The Saturday night incident at Barkley's residence in Tredyffrin Township, Pennsylvania, involved at least one intruder entering the home, police say. No one inside was injured, and police say the suspect or suspects had fled by the time they arrived, possibly in a white SUV, reports the Athletic.

Capt. Tyler Moyer tells NBC Philadelphia that investigators are examining whether the break-in is tied to organized groups that have been targeting pro athletes' houses in recent years. The probe comes months after a separate burglary ring hit the homes of NFL stars including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Joe Burrow, a ring that officials say has since been disrupted with several arrests. Barkley is a running back for the Philadelphia Eagles.
