Concert swag usually means a T-shirt, but Zac Brown just took things a bit further. Marking his 15th consecutive sold-out show at Boston's Fenway Park on Sunday, the country star told more than 37,000 fans they were all getting a cruise for two via the Margaritaville at Sea cruise line, on his tab, CBS News reports. Brown called it "the biggest giveaway in history," with the gift, valued by the band at more than $40 million, able to be used on select sailings over the next year.
The band revealed the surprise right before they played "Same Boat," a song they remixed in 2022 with the late Jimmy Buffett, per USA Today. "Tonight we're gonna do something that even Jimmy would say is crazy," Brown announced. The cruise line's CEO called it an "extraordinary" thank you to fans who've supported the band, which first played Fenway in 2014, per CBS. The group had already been raffling off four cruise trips a night on its current tour. "It was unbelievable," one fan in attendance says. "I'm still speechless. I woke up this morning, and I still couldn't believe it."
