Heartbreaking News for Rob Lowe's Brother, Chad

Actor Chad Lowe and producer Kim Painter are mourning the death of their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe. In a statement shared on Tuesday, the couple said they're "deeply heartbroken" and described Fiona as a bright, creative child who enjoyed dancing and was cherished by her older sister Mabel, 17, and younger sister Nixie, 10, per People. "She was the light of our lives," the family said, asking for privacy and prayers as they grieve.

Fiona, was born on Nov. 16, 2012. Earlier social media posts from Lowe celebrated her entry into her teen years and praised his three daughters' "spirit and resilience" after the family lost their Pacific Palisades home in the 2025 fires. Chad Lowe is the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe. The statement announcing Fiona's death also pointed people to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, urging anyone struggling with mental health to seek help by calling or texting 988, or by visiting 988lifeline.org, per E! News.
