Another entry in the passengers-you-hope-to-avoid files: Australian Federal Police allege 41-year-old Thomas Raymond Forster verbally abused another passenger on a Qantas flight, kicked and pushed the seat ahead of him, and then turned on crew who tried to intervene. But the scariest moments came as the jet prepared for landing, reports the Australian. Forster allegedly ignored instructions to buckle up and tried, unsuccessfully, to open a door while the plane was still in the air, according to a police statement.

Officers met the flight on arrival in Perth, per People. Forster has been charged with endangering the safety of an aircraft, harming a Commonwealth official, failing to follow crew directions, and disorderly behavior.
