Marshawn Kneeland's son has arrived seven months after the Dallas Cowboys defensive end's death, report TMZ. Girlfriend Catalina Mancera announced on Instagram that their baby, named Makhai, was born on Thursday, sharing photos of his ink footprints and a onesie featuring a woven image of Kneeland in his Cowboys jersey. She captioned the post, "my favorite gift from you," reports People.

Kneeland, 24, died Nov. 5 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after a police chase, authorities said. Days later, head coach Brian Schottenheimer publicly shared that Mancera was pregnant and announced the creation of the Marshawn Kneeland Memorial Fund to support her and the child "for the rest of their lives."
