Linda Cohn is leaving ESPN after a record-setting run. The 66-year-old SportsCenter fixture will retire at the end of the month, following a 34-year stint as the longest-serving anchor in the show's history, reports People. ESPN will mark the moment Friday with a night dedicated to her career as she anchors her final show. Cohn's contract is up on June 30, and the two sides could not come to terms, per USA Today.

Cohn, who joined ESPN in 1992 (see her first show), says she's proudest of helping clear a path for women in sports media. The former college hockey goalie also doesn't sound like she's done in the business. "I'm grateful for every moment I had at ESPN but I'm inspired and energized by the opportunities that lie ahead," she said in a statement. "My story is still being written."
